Based on 1,436 reviews

Kunak Western Food is widely recognized for its generous portion sizes, affordable pricing, and satisfying flavors, making it a popular dining option in Shah Alam. Customers often highlight the value for money, with many recommending sharing dishes within small groups due to the large servings. The restaurant's casual, local vibe adds to its charm, though its location in a residential area results in limited parking and occasional long queues, especially during peak hours. While the taste receives generally positive feedback, some patrons suggest there is room for improvement. Additionally, wait times can be lengthy, so visitors are advised to arrive early or prepare to be patient. Overall, Kunak Western Food appeals to diners seeking hearty Western meals in a laid-back setting.

Came here when it still viral, have to queue up a little. The food portion + taste + price = fantastic. Having good time here, enjoying good food and good company. Since it's makeshift restaurant, it really exude the local vibe style. Just a little bit hot, I would contribute it to the weather, so bring sufficient cooling tools it you want to eat here.

Knew this restaurant from google. First time came here, we arrived around 5.30pm, and this place almost crowded with customers. Event the sitting tables are a lot, however the parking area very limited because it was located at hidden area in residential area. Advice is to come before 6pm or else you have to park at other area. Price quite OK with big portion served. It takes about 10 minutes for our first meal. During waiting, if you are lucky and sitting in the open area, you may view many aeroplanes passing by with clear view. Toilet, sink and surau are available in this premise. A lot of options to choose from the menu, from local cousine to western. For beverages, only normal one serve, they dont have specialty or fancy coffee. Operation hours start from 4.30pm to 11.30pm daily, and close on monday. Anyway, their coleslaw taste beyond my expectation, you should give it a try.

Satisfaction meet. Me and my family had chicken chop, chicken grill and pasta carbonara with chicken chop spicy Korean sauce. All food in big portion for the three of us, so I suggest you all with small family can order 2 types of dish and share. The taste is good and the price is affordable. Update 8 August 2025. Came here for the third time and this time I'm having aglio olio with spicy chicken Korean.

Reached the place 6:55 to be exact, there is queue, restaurant is full. Seated at around 730pm, 740pm order taken, 8:10pm potato wedges was served, and finally by 8:40pm our maincourse was served. The waiting time is toooo long, so if u will come there, hungry, u will passout, be patient portion is big, the price is reasonable. Taste is just okay but can be improved. Parking pays RM4, we come during Sunday. Honestly, im excited to taste it, but because of waiting for the queue and the waiting time for food takes forever , your hunger will be goneWhen the food comes, i just barely eat it, asked for tapau box, settle it and go.

19 September Follow up review! I dah datang sini 4 kali and sekarang dah ada tandas lelaki & perempuan, dan owner sendiri reply kata ada tempat solat juga. Dulu saya review masa awal-awal viral memang takde toilet, tapi sekarang dah ada! Good improvement The food here is super tasty! The presentation is beautiful, the drinks are fresh and padu, and the portions are really full and very affordable too. It’s a really family-friendly spot. Just a heads up though, there’s no toilet, which is why I can’t give it 5 stars. Payment is cash or bank transfer only, no QR, and the restaurant is actually inside a residential area. Parking is paid, and sometimes you’ll have to queue for a table. If you come with older people, it’s better to have them stay in the car until your table is ready because sometimes there aren’t enough chairs to wait. While waiting, it can be a bit smelly (poop-meow vibes ) because there are a bunch of cute cats near the entrance. Also, planes fly just above you every 20 minutes so make sure get your phone ready! Overall, the food is amazing and worth visiting, the waiting situation not too long

Arrive around 7.45pm. There is paid parking RM2 and have to walk 2 minute to the shop. The shop is located at the end of an narrow alley. Surprising, we already have to queue (quite long). Get seated around 8.15pm. Ordered: cheezy wedges, bolognese ala carte, bolognese chicken grill & mango shake. Serving time: 30-50 mins. - Mango shake arrive first around 10 min, cheezy wedges 30 min, bolognese 45 min. I see other table got their chicken chop and grill earlier than me, maybe the menu is easier to do. Pastas arrive late. Verdict: -mango shake . Tasted great for me. Not too sweet. Huge amount of mango at the top, buut the mango is bland. -cheezy wedges . Almost like KFC, crunchy on outside soft on inside, but the yellow sauce not thick. - bolognese is rather a little sourish to bland. The sauce is plain, no mince meat, little bit of cheese flake, tiny bite size chicken. But the portion is big (1.5 palm size). For ala carte have 2 hotdog. -chicken grill: Not that bad for me. Got some seasoning taste. Size a bit small. They gave chili flake and chili sos. Payment: No QR. Cash and bank transfer only Conc: if you're a patient person and want cheap western food can come here.
